Yerba Mate tastes like a tea and hits you like a coffee — and yet, it’s technically neither. If you’re looking for a boost of energy that doesn’t come from an espresso bean, look no further than this South American super-beverage made of the steeped leaves and twigs of an indigenous plant, which has been providing locals with a natural pick-me-up for centuries.
The Kochi Tea Company was founded in 2012 in the Northern Mountains of Changmai, Thailand. With the owners of this tea estate, we created many tea flavors. Our mission and goal was to serve the people and build community. Our mission is the same today.
Very welcoming, cozy spot for delicious coffee and tea! Pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of both the tea and espresso drinks - at most places it’s one or the other but they were perfectly made with a nice dense foam.—
Stumbled on this place and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly staff, INCREDIBLE baked goods (I ended up buying croissants and three different quiches to have on hand, beautiful aesthetic and environment. I can’t wait to go back...—Jason Gruhl
I have had this place on my list for a bit because it looked like they had a lot of tea options. And I was not disappointed! A row of freshly brewed teas, arranged from highest caffeine content (e.g. Yerba Matte) to herbal caffeine-free made it easy to visually choose. I was going to do a plain iced tea, upon explaining that I am both dairy- and sugar-free, but the very friendly barista assured me that she could accommodate. She recommended the Red Rocks latte, made with rooibos, oat milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup. It was quite tasty. Plus, the space looked like it could be good for creative writing (one of my jams when I'm not working or yelping)...there were a few people there on laptops, so I may have to return.—Joscelyne G.
Awesome coffee, incredible tea selection, and fantastic service! The staff here are so warm and welcoming, they really make you feel like it’s a true neighborhood spot and that they’re really grateful for your business. I highly recommend!—Theresa Cantafio
